Water Channel 4.5 x 3 FT. 15Ft away
from SWY RWY 31 perpendicular to centerline.
Do not mistake parallel TWY as runway.
BIRD CONCENTRATION IN THE VICINITY OF THE AIRPORT
Flocks of small birds
present a hazard to air navigation at all times in the vicinity of the airport. Pilots are advised to exercise extreme
caution when approaching or departing.
Particularly below ALT 3000 FT
endeavor to keep pilots advised of bird concentrations, but single birds
circling at any height are very
difficult to observe for ATC. Pilot reports of bird concentration are requested. These reports are
very useful in planning a programmed
to attempt a reduction of bird strike hazards.
